I just got back to Dillingham on Tuesday from a training/mini vacation in Fairbanks. It was so nice to get out of the Dill if only for a week and a half. I didn't want to come back! Though, Matthew was the deciding factor of returning. We both took yesterday off and lounged around the apartment, barely getting out of bed. It was great!
Today I have to go back to work and I am not looking forward to it. Luckily, only two days until the weekend. I think I can survive!
I bought a new comic while I was in Fairbanks (in addition to buying more "Y: the Last Man" and "Fables") called "The Unwritten". So far it seems to be inspired by Harry Potter, but quite a bit darker. Its a Vertigo comic and I really seem to enjoy all of their titles (so far). I almost picked up a title called "House of Mystery" but decided I was going way over budget. Maybe next time. This title though seems really disturbing and sick. I was intrigued! It might give me nightmares though. :-P
Oh and speaking of comics, did I mention I got tickets to the San Diego Comic-Con? Now I need help on figuring out who to dress up as.
